Cape Public Schools is applying for a grant to offer a 21st Century Community Learning Center at Central Middle School, Terry W. Kitchen Central Junior High, and Central High schools next school year.

21st CCLC program provides academic assistance, acceleration, and enrichment opportunities before and after school. The program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children. All students, grades 5th-12th grade, who live in the schools' attendance area are invited to participate.
